2.3 Priority group analysis
By referring to the problems we did a priority group analysis for the grassroots of our focused community. This participatory exercise highlighted many issues that the students are facing in the faculty. Out of all these, the most pressing matter singled out was the lack of a canteen in the faculty. And the students voiced their need for a solution to this major problem.

2.4 Problem identification & prioritization
After that, a list of problems associated with the lack of a canteen were identified and categorized in to a matrix. The following are the problem identification and prioritization exercise done by different groups of students of Faculty of Science. This exercise was done to identify and rank priority problems of students, to gain historical perspective of the problem, and to assess the forecasted impacts of each problem from the views of Faculty of Science students’ community. From this activity the most compelling problems identified from the exercise were, getting late to class, decrease in productivity and lack of focus during lecture.
